HPN Beautiful Tree Program in Monroe, New Jersey

Hindu Parents Network is excited to bring the Beautiful Tree Program (BTP) to Monroe, NJ, beginning September 20 for children ages 6–15.

BTP is a one-of-a-kind youth development program designed specifically for Hindu children and youth growing up in the diaspora, with their real-life needs and challenges in mind. It recognizes that our children are often navigating multiple worlds—home, school, friends, media, and broader society—and need more than textbook knowledge. They need clarity, confidence, critical thinking, emotional resilience, and practical tools to understand their heritage and apply Hindu wisdom in daily life.

Through age-appropriate learning, engaging stories, discussions, reflection, games, infographics, multimedia, group activities, and hands-on learning, children develop clarity in Dharma, confidence in their heritage, and a deep connection to their Hindu roots.

The program also introduces practical self-help tools rooted in the Hindu tradition, including Yoga Asana, Pranayama, and simple meditation practices that help improve focus, emotional resilience, self-awareness, and inner calm.

BTP Junior | Ages 6-9

BTP Junior, Values Through Stories and Art introduces younger children to Hindu values through carefully selected stories from the Hindu Itihasa, Puranas, history, and the lives of inspiring Hindu heroes and great personalities.

Through expressive storytelling, visuals, curiosity prompts, and creative activities, children explore values such as empathy, gratitude, courage, honesty, self-control, and responsibility in an engaging, age-appropriate way.

Along with storytelling, the onsite program also includes Yoga Asana and hands-on art and craft activities designed specifically for this age group.

BTP Youth | Ages 10-15

BTP Youth takes older children deeper into Hindu Dharma, philosophy, history, civilization, ethics, and questions relevant to growing up Hindu in the diaspora.

Through discussions, debates, case studies, stories, and collaborative activities, students develop critical thinking and communication skills while exploring how Hindu Dharma can guide everyday choices and challenges.

The Onsite BTP Youth program includes age-appropriate Yoga Asana, Pranayama, and meditation, followed by teaching, activities, stories, and discussions.

Whether a child is just beginning to explore Hindu Dharma or wants to deepen their understanding, BTP provides a fun, interactive, and intellectually engaging environment where learning is meaningful, practical, and enjoyable.
