Hindu Dharma Through Stories
Join us for an engaging online course hosted by the Hindu Parents Network, designed for kids and teens (ages 10+). Over 12 weeks and 12 sessions, participants will explore the core principles of Hindu Dharma in a fun and interactive virtual environment. Through storytelling, games, and group activities, they’ll discover four timeless Hindu principles and learn how to apply them in daily life.
In today’s world, parents often place heavy emphasis on STEM education, sometimes at the expense of value-based learning and character-building. While academic success is important, a lack of moral and ethical grounding can leave children directionless, making them vulnerable to toxic worldviews later in life. This course aims to bridge that gap by providing a strong foundation in Hindu Dharma, equipping children with clarity, resilience, and a deeper sense of purpose.
Ideal for kids with little or no background in Hindu Dharma, this program offers an accessible and enjoyable way to learn core Hindu values in a supportive and welcoming atmosphere—whether they are new to these teachings or seeking to deepen their understanding.
Course Highlights
- 20+ Inspiring Stories
In each session, we’ll dive into captivating stories from Hindu texts, each highlighting a key Hindu principle. Over the 12-session course, we will explore four core Hindu principles and discuss their practical applications in daily life, making the wisdom of Hindu Dharma both relatable and actionable. - Interactive Online Games
At the end of each session, participants will join in fun, interactive Kahoot! based on the day’s learning. This game will create a lively and competitive environment while reinforcing the lessons learned in each session. - Group Discussions and Reflection
After every story, there will be a virtual discussion where participants share their thoughts, reflections, and insights. This will help them understand how these ancient values can be applied to their own lives, promoting deeper personal growth. - Sharing Circle
At the end of each session, time permitting, participants can share their favorite stories or personal experiences in a relaxed, online campfire setting. This provides an opportunity for connection, reflection, and learning from each other in a supportive environment.
