Empower. Educate. Earn Volunteer Hours.
Are you a high school student looking to make a meaningful impact while earning volunteer hours? Are you passionate about Hindu culture, values, and traditions—and want to share that with your community?
Join the Hindu Parents Network (HPN) as a student volunteer! This is your chance to develop leadership skills, grow your knowledge of Hindu Dharma, and contribute to real-world programs that educate and inspire.
What Can High School Volunteers Do?

- Festival education (e.g., Diwali, Holi, Navaratri)
- Historical characters
- Disapora experience of being Hindu American/Hindu Canadian
- ✅ Support cultural events and exhibitions during Hindu Heritage Month

- Cultural literacy and confidence
- Event planning and community engagement
Volunteer Credit:
HPN is happy to provide official volunteer hour documentation that can be submitted to your high school for credit or community service requirements.
Where Can You Volunteer?
- At your local temple (HPN is building partnerships with temples nationwide)
- At schools and libraries for cultural awareness event.
- Through virtual programs and presentations supported by the HPN national team.
Why This Matters:
As a high school student in the diaspora, you play a crucial role in shaping how your peers and community understand Hinduism. By volunteering with HPN, you are learning about your roots, what it means to be a Hindu, and becoming a voice for your generation all while earning volunteer hours.
