Interaction with Ami Ganatra

Hindu god symbology is a profound and intricate subject that holds within it layers of cultural, philosophical, and spiritual significance. These symbols reflect the intricate complexity and diversity of Hindu thought, offering a tangible pathway to connect with the divine and explore the enigmatic realms of existence.

However, this symbology is often misunderstood.

  • Why does Ganesha have an elephant head?
  • Why does Shiva have a serpent in his neck?
  • How about a necklace of skulls worn by Ma Kali?

We invite middle schoolers (Ages 10-15) to events that delve deep into the realm of Hindu god symbology. These events offer an immersive exploration of the profound meanings nestled within every gesture, adornment, and attribute associated with the deities.

The events are part of the open house event of the Beautiful Tree program of the Hindu Parents Network.

Feel free to attend one or more of these events.
